Amnesty Recipient

As an Anti-War Activist, I moved from War Resister to Federal Fugitive, living in exile in Canada for eight and a half years (1968-1977). I was pardoned by President Jimmy Carter on the first full day after his inauguration (i.e., on January 21, 1977).
