Anti-War Activist
Opposed to the Vietnam War, I was active in the anti-war movement, participating in several demonstrations both before and during my exile in Canada (shown here at the U.S. Consulate in Toronto). I was teargassed at the famous March on the Pentagon in 1967, as described in Norman Mailer's Armies of the Night. (See also Federal Fugitive and War Resister.)
