Photo Historian

In his discussion of an alleged Emily Dickinson daguerreotype, a scholar refers to me as a "photohistorian," quoting from my book Camera Clues. (See http://www.common-place.org/vol-04/no-02/gura/.) That book indeed has much data on the history of photographic processes and photographs. I am also a co-compiler (with Thomas M. House) of a typescript treatise on historic Lexington, Kentucky, photographers (copy at Special Collections, King Library, U. of Kentucky).
