Master of Ceremonies

Perhaps my first venue as an M.C. was presiding at a high school banquet in 1961. During my stint at Diamond Tooth Gertie's Gambling Hall in Dawson City, Yukon Territory, during the summers of 1975 and 1976, although I worked primarily as a dealer (see Blackjack Dealer and Crown & Anchor Croupier), during the second summer I was also part-time master of ceremonies, closing my game just before the show began and running up on stage to call out the can-can girls. (See also Toastmaster.)
